ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL RETIREMENT FUND MAKES FIRST PAYMENT ON SOCIAL SECURITY Alfred Nystrom, City Clerk, Galesburg, and Trustee of the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund, recently paid over a check in the amount of $8,381,000 to L. C. Cortright, Secretary of the Illinois State Employees' Retirement System. This is the first installment of the Social Security Tax tor municipal employees covered by the benefits of the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund.
