Problems' Commission Hearings Completed

The ILLINOIS MUNICIPAL PROBLEMS' COMMISSION has completed its scheduled public hearings with September meetings in Broadview and Chicago. Both hearings were well attended by municipal officials and a record number of statements were presented.

Previous meetings of the Commission were held in Centralia, Champaign-Urbana, Peoria and Rockford.

The Commission will now review and consider the statements in preparation for the coming session of the General Assembly. An analysis of the Statements presented to the Commission will be featured at the opening session of the Illinois Municipal League Conference on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 9th.
