Donald F. Bresnan, a member of the Champaign Park District board, was installed as president - elect of the National Recreation and Park Association's National Commissioners Board Members Branch at the 1976 NRPA Congress in Boston, Mass.

He will help lead a 59-member board of directors with representation from every state and district. Don is the first Illinois Commissioner ever elected to National C-BM Office. President of IAPD in 1970, he served as appointed member of City of Champaign Playground and Recreation Commission 1957-1964 and as elected Park Commissioner 1963-present. He was also President of the Champaign Park District Board 1963-1975.

Ms. Mary Ann Lasch has recently joined A.R.C. Associates, Inc., Park and Recreation Planners of Glenview, Illinois. Ms. Lasch, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, will assist in the firm's expanding landscape architectural services.

Ms. Lasch has an extensive background in public work and recreation services. Formerly employed by the Cleveland Metro Parks, she has worked in private practices with John Litten, Associates and William A. Behnke and Associates, both of Cleveland, Ohio. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison in Landscape Architecture, Ms. Lasch will concentrate in the design and construction of public park and recreation facilities.
