Traffic accidents in Peoria's parks have been reduced through an innovative enforcement program developed by the park police. The Elk Grove Park District reveals its success with a unique neighborhood park that offers novel recreational opportunities for persons of all ages. In Wheaton, the park district has initiated an annual festival that is quickly becoming a community tradition, and the Le-mont Park District shares the secrets of its success with civic groups and volunteers.
