DESK . . . .
Former Mayor Paul Lenz of Alton has accepted
employment with an engineering firm in Sarasota, Florida as of February 1, 1988.
He served as Alton's engineer prior to becoming
Mayor. He served four terms, (16 years) as Alton's
Mayor. He also served as President of the Illinois Municipal League from 1981 to 1982.
We wish him well. . . .
Mrs. Donna McAllister, CMC/AAE, City Clerk of
Des Plaines, Illinois, has been accepted into the IIMC
Academy for Advanced Education of the International
Institute of Municipal Clerks. The Academy is the professional body of municipal clerks who have continued
their high level of educational achievement beyond the
attainment of the prestigious Certified Municipal Clerk
(CMC) Award. •
