DESK . . . .
Romelle R. Cunningham, City Clerk, City of Belvidere, Illinois, has been awarded the designation of "Certified Municipal Clerk" (CMC) from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) for achieving its high educational, experience, and service requirements.
Kathryn Michael, Director of Finance for the Village of Fox River Grove, recently received Certification as an Illinois Municipal Treasurer at the Spring Meeting of the Illinois Municipal Treasurers Association in Springfield. As a candidate for this award, Kathryn had to complete a three year program sponsored by Eastern Illinois University, be a member of the Illinois Municipal Treasurers Association for a minimum of two years and hold a position in the field of Municipal Finance in the State of Illinois.
