EHRHART SELECTED CLERKS' MEMBER OF THE YEAR

Patricia D. Ehrhart, CMC/AAE, Neoga City Clerk, has been selected as the 1989 recipient of the Ilion Crabel Member of the Year Award for the Municipal Clerks of Illinois. Presented on October 11 at the Annual Meeting of the Municipal Clerks of Illinois in DeKalb, this award recognizes Ehrhart for her many contributions to the Asso- ciation since she became a member in 1983.

Appointed City Clerk in 1983, Ehrhart is a Registered Municipal Clerk, Certified Municipal Clerk and a member of the elite IIMC Academy for Advanced Education. Ehrhart twice served as District VI Director for MCI and in 1987-88 served as President of the organization. During her term as Director, she served as Historian for MCI, as Chair of the Legislative Committee and as a member of the Scholarship Criteria Committee. On October 11, she completed her term as MCI Immediate Past President but was immediately elected to a new term as District VI Director. Ehrhart has also been active in the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and served as IIMC State Membership Chair in 1988-89. •
