Finding Common Ground On March 23rd, Open Lands Project will host a timely and important conference — "Finding a Common Ground: Redefining Today's Goals for Urban Growth." The conference will assemble a broad range of professionals who shape the northeastern Illinois landscape to open dialogues in providing a future of balanced growth for the region. It will offer examples by national experts on how open space has been successfully provided for in metropolitan development and set the groundwork for overcoming adversarial attitudes regarding growth in northeastern Illinois. "Finding a Common Ground" will be a daylong event held at the Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace and will cost $65 per registrant.
