CITY MANAGER

OPERATIONS MANAGER
The City of Champaign, Illinois, population 61,000, is seek-
ing a qualified individual to manage, plan and direct the Oper-
ations Division of the Public Works Department. The Opera-
tions Division consists of the Streets, Sewers, Concrete and
Forestry sections which are responsible for the maintenance
and repair of pavements, curbs, sidewalks, sewers, trees and
other public facilities as well as snow/ice removal. Possible
reorganization may result in the addition of street light, traffic
signal and traffic sign maintenance and repair responsibilities.
Qualifications include thorough knowledge of the principles
and practices of municipal public works maintenance and
