September 1992 Municipal Calendar

This calendar is based upon the most current information, court decisions and legislation of which the League has knowledge as of the date of this publicafion. It supercedes similar information contained in all other League publications.

Return of delinquent special assessments shall be made five days prior to date for taking judgment. (Ch. 24, par. 9-2-85.)

Votes must be cast for trustee of the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund. (Ch. 108 1/2, par. 7-175.)

All municipalities with 100 or more employees must prepare an equal employment opportunity report (Form EEO-4) documenting sex, race and salary data for all employees including part-time help. The report is to be submitted to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission by September 30, each year. (Ch. 68, par. 2-105.) This form will be supplied by the EEOC to those municipalities required to participate.
