Referenda Results
The following are the results of the referenda election held on November 5, 1991. The data for this report were obtained from
election authorities, local election officials, and local canvassing board abstracts. The following is a summary of those referenda.
There were 302 different referenda proposals presented by 271 units of government on the Nonpartisan election ballot — 146
passed and 156 failed. At this election, the overall passage rate was 48 percent.
