The Illinois Health Care Cost Containment Council (IHCCC) is mandated to collect and disseminate information on hospital

enhanced its products and services for a
broad range of users. The products fall into
two categories: Public Release and Controlled Release products (for which an application is required). The first category includes Public DataSet/2 (@ $l,500/qtr
Tape) and Patient Origin DataSet/2 (@
$l,350/yr Tape); the second comprises Universal DataSet (@ $2,000/qtr) and Research
Oriented DataSet/2 (@ $3,000/qtr). Custom Reports and DataSets are also available, as well as contracts for specialized
services.

The individual area maps show the location of major health providers and indicate the number of primary care physicians in the area. The department will also generate special reports based on a customer's choice of variables and geographic areas. Anna J. Merritt
