Elmo Ferrenburg, City Clerk, City of Monmouth, Illinois, has been awarded the designation of "Certified Municipal Clerk" (CMC) from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) for achieving its high educational, experience, and service requirements.

Mr. Ferrenburg has been City Clerk of Monmouth, Illinois, since 1982. Previously he held administrative positions in private business . . .

Elvira L. Johnson, CMC/AAE, Village Clerk/Collector of Bensenville, Illinois, has been accepted as a member in the IIMC Academy for Advanced Education of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. The Academy is the professional body of municipal clerks who have continued their high level of educational achievement beyond the attainment of the prestigious Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) Award. •
