CHIEF OF POLICE

background in community law enforcement including experience as a line supervisor as well as management experience in

SUPERINTENDENT OF RANGER OPERATIONS
LAKE COUNTY FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT
Responsible for all aspects of the ranger function, including providing protection to the public using the forest preserves, protection of natural resources and buildings, supervising six full-time Ranger Police and thirty part-time Rangers.
Bachelor's degree in parks and recreation, criminal justice,
public administration or a related field. Seven years of progressively responsible related work experience in conservation law enforcement (including field experience), recreation
and natural resource management, supervision of law enforcement officers, and budget management. Must have
completed basic police training approved by the State of
