DCCA Workshops
The Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs is currently conducting a series of municipal workshops around the state which will continue through April. The workshops are designed to meet the particular interests of elected and appointed officials of smaller municipalities.
Sessions include information on revenue sources duties of officials, appropriation/budget procedures, management reports and how to calculate the financial impact upon citizens of new municipal projects. A recent survey of local governments indicates that these topics are of great interest to local officials.
Mayors and village presidents, clerks, treasurers, members of governing body and the administrative staff are urged to attend.
