Wherever you Are, a Great Public Course is Near You
Spring is here. And with it, comes the urge to duck out of the office a little early to make sure that you can get in a round before the sun sets. Luckily, whereever you are in Illinois, there's a high-quality public course nearby.
This season, Illinois Parks & Recreation brings you its annual listing of public golf facilities operated by members of the Illinios Association of Park Districts and the Illinois Park and Recreation Association. We want to help you start the season off right by providing you all the latest information on your favorite course. And maybe you'll want to visit some new courses, too- check this listing out for details before you go.
To compile our guide, we surveyed IAPD member agencies and cross-checked park and recreation web sites. Because these facilities are owned and/or operated by IAPD/IPRA members, you know you'll get a good value and fine exceptional conditions, professional service, state-of-the-art amenities and excellent PGA instructors at these courses.
So... Get ready to enjoy summer. And remember, we don't advocate playing hooky to visit these great courses. But we do suggest that you put your clubs in the trunk and map a route home that just happens to go by a park district, forest preserve or recreation agency golf course.
