Comments: Given
the difficulty in
attracting teens to positive recreation
experiences, the variety of programming
activities described in the article expressed
a great deal of creativity. The wide range of
ideas included competitive athletic events
to theater programs to simply a place to
"hang out." The variety of ideas illustrates
the difficulty in providing appealing
programs for teens and emphasizes the fact
that there is no "quick fix" to this very
timely and complex issue.
